Gift Card Reporting

We recently released support for using multiple gift cards in a single payment. This caused some confusion in gift card reporting around cards sold vs redeemed. While we work on improved reporting, this guide explains how the current system works. We are in a holiday code freeze, and updates will be released in the coming weeks.

Totals Report:

The totals report currently shows gift card in the Tendered section. This total is currently showing the net amount between tendered and issued. Please note that the tendered total ($2,132.14 in the image) does not include this value.

To view the gift card breakdown of issued card and redeemed cards, please scroll to the bottom of the report to view the gift card sold and gift card redeemed. This total clearly shows the two separately.
