    Standalone mode

    Transformity's credit card devices support standalone mode to take payments in the event of computer of system issues. Standalone mode allows the card reader to be used for credit cards, so you maintain the safety of card-present / EMV chips, but are able to use it without a computer.

    Steps:

    1. Swipe from left to right on the main logo screen
    2. Turn ON standalone mode
    3. Go back to logo screen and click 'New Payment' for sales
    4. Enter amount to collect
    5. Collect payment

    Note: standalone mode has a standard credit card processing rate that is slightly higher if your store has a custom rate. It should be used in times of need only to maintain your custom rate for normal sales.

    Connecting to hotspot

    Should you lose internet, you can connect the credit card reader to a mobile hotspot to keep taking sales.

    • Swipe from left to right on the main logo screen
    • Go to Settings
    • Enter pin '07139'
    • Click Network
    • Connect to the hotspot network
    • Go back to logo screen and continue taking sales
