Data Onboarding Checklist

Item Scanning

Ensure prices, quantity, cost are correct for all the below items. Navigate to  Item Search  or click the Menu -> Item -> Item Search.

Data Onboarding Checklist

Normal Items

Scan the below items. Ensure the Vendors & Vendor SKU on the items are correct. They should match against your old POS.

  • Bud Light 30PK
  • Josh Cab 750mL
  • Tito's 750mL
  • Fireball 50mL
  • Bota Box 3L

Child Items

If you sell these items, ensure they imported and tied correctly to the parent. Also, ensure the deposit is correct on the items.

A Bear indicates the item has a parent. The Bottle Deposit Multiplier should indicate the number of cans/bottles if a deposit is collected.

You can the parent and any siblings if you click "Parent/Child" then Relationships

Ensure fees are correctly set on these items (if your state has fees on them):

  • Wynk single can (any flavor)

4 PK Wines

  • Sutter Home 4PK
  • Barefoot 4PK

Craft Beers

  • Your choice
  • Ensure deposits are correct
  • Ensure parent child relationship is correct

Special Items

Ensure these items scan if you have them

  • CARLO ROSSI PAISANO - 1.5 L and other Carlo Rossi 1.5L
  • E&J VS BRANDY - 200 ML
  • Marlboro Lights
  • Newport Box

Privately Owned Items

Other Items

Once the above items are verified and scanning, it would be good to scan random items and ensure they match your old system. A good way of doing this is putting the systems side-by-side, taking two barcode scanners, and scanning items. Someone should be at the register checking the prices. Another person should walk the store and scan items using the scanners. Ensure to scan the bottle's barcode. Shelf barcodes could be out of date.

Department

Navigate to  Departments . Verify the following:

  • Check if department groups came in
  • If you did not have this, the departments, will be grouped under "Other"
  • Check ice, water, grocery have taxes on them
  • Check tax rate on all departments

Other Features

If you have a customer database and gift cards, let the team know you need these imported

Pre-Launch

  1. Ensure Quick Keys are working as expected
  2. Match Credit Card Terminal to Register Number
  3. Ensure Credit Card Terminal Logo on Terminal
  4. Gift Cards show under Reports -> Gift Card History
  5. Customers show under Customer Loyalty
  6. Anydesk is installed via Chat -> Software Drivers -> AnyDesk
  7. Zebra is printing labels
  1. Ensure to plug directly into computer and use the cable given. It will not work without it
