If your printer stops responding, the fastest way to troubleshoot this issue is the following:

Check that 'Zebra Browser Print' is running.

If this application doesn't seem to be installed, you can

If these steps don't work, then try the below:

: this tends to solve the issue. If it doesn't, go to the next step.

: this will take a little longer, but should reset the printer<>computer connection. If it still not working, go to the next step.

Unplug your printer from the computer and then plug it back

The first step would be to factory reset your printer:

Press and hold the PAUSE and FEED buttons while turning the printer back on

Wait for the status light to become stable

This error may indicate that you need to recalibrate your printer:

Please follow these steps to calibrate your Zebra ZD411/ZD410 Label Printer:

Ensure the printer is on, and wait for the status light to turn solid green

Hold the pause (2 vertical lines) and cancel (X) buttons for two seconds

Then, press the feed button (between the pause and cancel buttons) a few times to synchronize your labels

If the above steps do not fix the issue, please follow these steps:

Put the printer in Advanced Mode by pressing the pause button for two seconds until the status indicator (seen below) is solid yellow:

Press the pause button while the status indicator is yellow. This is what should occur:

Open the printer and verify that the media sensor is in the center position for label/gap sensing

Remove 80mm (3 inches) of label from the liner and place it over the black roller, so the leading edge of the first label is under the media guides.

Close the printer and press pause one time. Here is what should happen:

Reopen the printer and and reposition the media to find a label directly above the moveable sensor

Now, the printer will measure and feed a few labels. Once the printer has stopped this process, try to print your labels again.

My Label Printer Isn't Working

Payment Terminal is Stuck in 'Processing'

Attempt to restart the device by pressing and holding the power button on the right side of the payment terminal:

To confirm the reader’s Ethernet connectivity, verify that the reader is charging and check if the Ethernet icon is visible in the status bar.

If you are using Wi-fi (not recommended) Please look for a similar symbol to this:

If you do not see the ethernet icon, please ensure that the ethernet cable is plugged in (on both ends). One end should be in the wall or switch that provides ethernet connectivity. The other end should be going into the provided hub. Ensure that the hub is also plugged in on both ends. One end should be receiving power from an outlet, and the other end should do into the dock of the Stripe terminal:

Payment Terminal is not linked to the correct register

If you moved/switched a terminal, it may not be linked to the correct register. Please contact support to get this resolved, we are working on a way to make this self-service.

Attempt to restart the device by holding down the power button. If that doesn't fix your issue. Users can also try to unplug the the power source from the outlet. 

Contact support right away if your issue wasn't listed above and are not able to take payments on the device.

Restarting your computer is like giving it a fresh start. It closes everything and starts again—but doesn’t fully turn off the power.

🛑 How to Shut Down Your Windows Computer

🔌 How to Unplug and Replug Your Ethernet Cable

Ethernet is the physical wire that connects your computer directly to the internet. Sometimes, unplugging and plugging it back in fixes connection issues.

Look at the back or side of your computer for a thick cable that looks like a phone wire but wider. That’s your

Push it back into the same port firmly until it clicks.

Look at the bottom-right corner of your screen for a small computer or globe symbol—it should no longer have a warning or red "X."

If you are seeing a banner alerting you to upgrade your browser, please follow these steps:

If you are running the POS as an app, open the application in your browser. Click "Open in Microsoft Edge (or Chrome)".

Click "About Microsoft Edge (or Chrome)". If there is an update available, let it complete updating then click relaunch or restart to finish updating your browser.
